Here’s me being super seedy the day after Melbourne Big Day Out. At the point these photos were taken, I had just gotten out of the shower & rushed into clothes & onto the balcony to take photos real quick before all the shit we wanted to get done that day. Also this is the face I make when there’s wind all up in my face and I’m tired & grumpy. SEXY.

Melbourne Big Day Out was awesome. I assume its hard not to be awesome when you have The Red Hot Chilli Peppers all up in your venue, but honestly my favourite act was Childish Gambino. Donald Glover is all kinds of brilliant at anything he does (or at least that’s how it appears given his success in rapping, acting, comedy & playwriting).

T bought me this shirt at MBDO because all the Childish Gambino jumpers were sold. I love it so much that I actually turn it inside before I hang it out to dry so that the print wont fade as much in the sun. It’s something I always think about doing when I’m hanging clothes out to dry but I usually give myself a lecture about fading being the natural progression of fabric in my lifestyle – sort of the sartorial version of “aging gracefully” because that’s easier than actually turning all my shirts inside out.

This is the photo I should’ve deleted out of all the photos showing this shirt, but I kept it because it  sort of looks like I’m peacefully sleeping while standing up on a balcony (which is more skillful than most things I am actually able to do) and now it also looks like I’m about to be carried away to some shady alien cloud-based shrine to Donald Glover.Which is also fine, and better than just being the girl who always blinks in photos.
